BREAST ACADEMY

Since 2014, we are proud to have been selected as the exclusive patient booking partner for the Breast Academy in the Gold Coast and Sydney. Australia’s first and only Breast Academy is headed by two of the nation’s renowned FRACS Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Dr Craig Layt, a past Board President of ASAPS (Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) and Dr Luke Stradwick.

The Breast Academy surgeons have included FRACS Australian Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, as well as accredited Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons from around the globe, including the USA, Belgium, France, the United Kingdom and Brazil. Between them, these Breast Academy surgeons have performed breast augmentation surgery on thousands of CosMediTour clients. PLASTIC & RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEONS

At CosMediTour we only refer clients to our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. It is essential to understand the difference between our Surgeons, and other Medical Practitioners that perform cosmetic surgery (commonly known as Cosmetic Surgeons). It takes up to 6 years of additional specialist training and qualifications to become a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

Added to the surgeon’s initial medical degree, and 2-3 years of practical experience as a medical practitioner prior to acceptance into the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery specialist training, that’s a minimum 12+ years of formal medical training and experience before a Plastic Surgeon will attempt to perform a breast augmentation procedure. Read our Plastic Surgeons VS Cosmetic Surgeons Blog which encompasses more detail on this topic.

THE HIGHEST AUSTRALIAN HOSPITAL ACCREDITATIONS

Our Australian Hospitals hold the highest possible Australian healthcare accreditations – the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) Evaluation and Quality Improvement (EQuIP) Standards, with the additional Exclusive Achievements (EA) Award.

PREMIUM QUALITY BREAST IMPLANTS

Our affiliated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons only use premium quality Cohesive Silicone Gel implants, from the world’s leading brands such as Mentor and Allergan.

LADIES FACEBOOK GROUP FORUM

We have a private CosMediTour Ladies Facebook Group Forum, where over 1,500 of our clients actively share their images, questions, feedback, knowledge and experiences.

VECTRA 3D

We offer the advanced Vectra 3D imaging system at the Breast Academy, which helps to provide our clients with a better understanding of their procedure outcome. Using this system, a 3-Dimensional photograph of the client is taken prior to surgery.

Then, using Vectra 3D’s software simulation tools, a 3D representation of how a client could look after their surgery with different sizes and shaped implants, is created. See more about this in our Vectra 3D blog.
