WHERE ARE COSMEDITOUR’S PARTNER HOSPITALS?

WILL I NEED TO STAY IN HOSPITAL LONG?
Most plastic surgery procedures are considered Day Surgery in Australia. Typically, clients can return home 2 to 3 hours after they wake from anaesthetic. In some cases, a short hospital stay will be required (usually no more than 2 to 3 days). This depends on the type of procedure, its complexity, and how well you recover after the surgery. Your Plastic Surgeon will be able to give you an indication of the time you can expect to spend in hospital during your consultations.
WHY DO I NEED AN OVERNIGHT BAG FOR HOSPITAL?
Even though most plastic surgery procedures are considered Day Surgery, it’s always best to be overprepared when it comes to your hospital bag. Be sure to pack the following essential items so that you’re not caught off guard: your phone; ID; a small amount of cash (for snacks and the hospital pharmacy); mobile devices and their chargers (for entertainment); toiletries; pyjamas and bed socks; a clean change of clothes and underwear (loose fitting and easy to get on and off); your regular medications, if you have any; a book; and your post-surgery support garments.

WILL I GET MY OWN HOSPITAL ROOM?

HOW WILL I GET TO AND FROM THE HOSPITAL?
You will need a dedicated support person to drive you to and from hospital. This person will also need to stay with you overnight after your procedure to ensure you’re safe as you begin recovery. Once your Surgery Recommendation has been confirmed, your Client Manager will ask for details on your support person so that they can let the hospital know.
